PHP / My SQL Web Developer
We are looking for the right candidate for our PHP/ My SQL Developer position. Candidates will have experience developing database backed web-based applications from ground up. This is a full time position.
Essential Job Duties and Functions:
* Develop new applications using PHP / My SQL.
* Assist in testing, ongoing maintenance and upgrades of new and existing web applications and sites.
* Take initiative, and work independently, while reporting to the senior management.
* Meet project milestone timelines and be able to communicate clearly on a technical and personal level.
* Ability to work effectively independently as well as a part of a dispersed team.
Required Skills and Experience:
* DHTML and CSS leveraged for cross browser compatibility.
* PHP, My SQL, Java Script, HTML (hand-coding), XML, CSS.
* Strong content management module development (text update, photo update, calendar and event update).
* Must have terrific problem-solving skills.
* Must have ability to follow direction.
* Write complex My SQL queries.
Additional Skills will be marked as Plus:
+ Experience with Object Oriented Analysis and Design.
+ Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
+ Excellent written and oral communication skills
+ Experience with Windows server 2003, .NET, Apache SSL on Windows, MS SQL
+ Long term leadership qualities, as we grow our in house programming team.
+ Ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, lives by details, has exceptional organization skills, and has a positive attitude.
